Workshops
Wicklow Photography Workshop - September 20-21 and 27-28
Experience some great photographic locations and get some great technical advice exploring Ireland's wonderful Wicklow with fine art photographers Ed and Peter Gordon. Aptly named the "Garden of Ireland", this county's nickname is well earned. In the east, the lonely, beautiful granite of the Wicklow Hills sit in utter contrast to the glowing reds found in the bog-lands of the ‘Sally Gap’. This workshop finds its focus on the stunning landscape, both grand and intricate, which County Wicklow embodies.
Peter has been photographing the area for many years and has an intimate knowledge of locations for sunrise, sunset and daytime shooting. Consequently you will receive the benefit of technical information and a wealth of location experience.
The main photographic focus will be on landscape photography and abstract depictions of the natural environment. While an SLR camera and tripod are essential, we can cater to al levels of photography taking you through the basics of exposure to advanced techniques such as the zone system.
